As the name implies, a solar phone charger harnesses the power of the sun (a.k.a solar energy) to supply electrical power to your gadgets or charge the battery. The advantage of these portable devices is that they don't need an external electrical energy source to work, making them excellent for outside enthusiasts or people who numerous not have access to a power outlet right away (like if you're at a music celebration in the middle of the desert or midway through a beautiful walking).

At the Excellent Housekeeping Institute, we evaluate tech products from waterproof speakers to gas leakage detectors.
